Welcome to HPSI!

Human Performance Systems, Inc. has its roots in Karen Medsker and Associates (KMA), which was started by its Principal, Dr. Karen Medsker, to meet a growing demand for her instructional design expertise. KMA designed, developed, implemented and evaluated training, performance management, and career development solutions for clients, including:

  • Booz-Allen and Hamilton
  • World Bank
  • New York Stock Exchange
  • U.S. General Accounting Office
  • FBI Academy
  • U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
  • Veterans' Benefits Academy
  • Internal Revenue Service
  • SATO Travel
  • Public Allies
  • Institute for Professional Education
  • New Century Management
  • Human Technology, Inc.
HPSI can provide the support that your organization needs.

In the mid 1990s, KMA expanded its business to include the development of expert systems, artificial neural networks, and other intelligent computer systems to complement services already offered. This expansion took place under the direction of Dr. Larry Medsker.

KMA's expansion led to the founding and incorporation of HPSI in 1997.
